MASTER'S OF SCIENCE IN PHYSICAL THERAPY

JESSICA NECKIEN

Jessica received her Undergraduate Degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS.  Jessica was also on the KU Crimson Girl Dance Team and The University of Kansas Dance Company.   Jessica received her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy Degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS in 2002, where she also received the Outstanding Student Award.  Jessica’s various clinical rotations included the Cadet’s Facility at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Spring, CO, various orthopedic and sports medicine clinics, hippotherapy, and hospitals.

 

Throughout Jessica’s career she has expanded her expertise with various upper and lower extremity manual therapy and therapeutic exercise continuing education courses, a year-long manual therapy course, various lower quarter biomechanics courses, and a 6 month advanced course in functional biomechanics of the lower quarter.  Jessica has guest lectured for physical therapy students regarding sports and injuries.  Jessica provides internships for students of various ages and stages of learning.  Jessica evaluates and treats outpatients in orthopedics, sports, gait assessments, pediatrics, Medicare, auto, personal insurance, and worker’s comp.   Jessica is passionate about her family, her profession, getting her patient’s better, and this facility.
