BRIAN RANIERI

Brian was raised in the Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks area. In his youth and throughout high school, he enjoyed competing in various baseball and football organizations. Brian developed a strong competitive drive and excelled in his athletic pursuits. Having been hampered in his sports activities by numerous shoulder, neck and back injuries, Brian can empathize with the frustrations experienced by his patients. Calling upon his personal experience coupled with his rigorous training, Brian uses a research and sports-based approach to healing. He aims to create specialized care for each of his patients in order to return them to their desired activities and lifestyle. Brian strongly values the patient-therapist relationship and believes in working together as partners, to maximize the many benefits of physical therapy.

 

He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2019, and spent numerous hours as a volunteer Athletic Trainer during his undergraduate time at California Lutheran University, where he assisted with both football and basketball programs. Brian continues his passion for athletics by volunteering time with youth and high school level sports.

 

Specializing in acute and chronic orthopedic ailments, Brian’s favorite aspect of being a Physical Therapist is helping patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they love. Additionally, he has endeavors of enrolling in further post-graduate studies and becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. Brian married his longtime girlfriend, Leigh, and they are looking forward to raising a family in the community.
